Washington Township, Ohio – Early Wednesday morning, firefighters in Washington Township responded to a report of a home fire.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says that at around 3:30 in the morning on Wednesday, fire crews were sent to the 2500 block of Goodfield Point in response to a report of a home fire.
The house was on fire, and the occupants had already managed to leave the burning home uninjured when the fire crews arrived.
According to responding crews, there was no visible damage to the exterior part of the house.
While firefighters were battling the fire, nearby residences were evacuated as a precaution.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
