Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, disseminated a manipulated video on Friday featuring Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a likely contender for the 2024 presidential nomination.
The video, known as a deepfake, shows Governor DeSantis morphed into a scene from the popular television show ‘The Office’. The scene is one where the character Michael Scott, portrayed by actor Steve Carrell, is derided by his colleagues for inadvertently donning a women’s suit.
“DeSantis does seem to spend a lot of time in high heels 🤣🤣🤣,” Trump Jr. appended to his tweet.

The relationship between Donald Trump, his son, and Governor DeSantis has been contentious, with the Trumps frequently criticizing the Governor as he positions himself for the 2024 presidential run.
Earlier this week on his digital platform, ‘Triggered With Don Jr.’, Donald Trump Jr. took verbal aim at Governor DeSantis. During a comprehensive critique, Trump Jr. characterized DeSantis as a “failure to launch” with the “policies of a DC swamp rat,” and described him as having a “nasal and effeminate voice.”
In a memorable blunder during the program, Trump Jr. contrasted his father to DeSantis saying, “Trump has the charisma of a mortician, and the energy that makes Jeb Bush look an Olympian,” seemingly unintentionally insulting his own father.
