Teenager arrested in connection with a shooting that left one dead

Dayton, Ohio – A teenager has been charged with murder after a man with gunshot wounds died after a car accident in Dayton.

Chandler Brown, of Dayton, has been charged with a number of charges, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, in connection with a shooting that occurred on March 26 in Montgomery County.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch sent officers to the junction of North Broadway Street and Harvard Boulevard at 1:45 a.m. on March 26, according to the dispatch center. When police arrived, they discovered a vehicle that had collided into a tree. A 47-year-old man named Anthony Render was found unconscious and with several gunshot wounds, police say.

After being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, Render passed away the next morning.

Among the charges against Brown are two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, one count of improper discharge of a firearm over a roadway, and one count of improper handling of a firearm in a vehicle.
