One person dead after a collision on I-75

Butler County, Ohio – The northbound lanes of I-75 in Butler County, Ohio, have been shut down after a person was killed in a collision involving two semitrailers.

This morning’s incident occurred on northbound Interstate 75 between state Routes 129 and 63 near Monroe, in Butler County, at around 9 a.m. According to multiple reports, the accident involved two semi-trucks and one person was killed in the crash.

All northbound lanes have been closed, and state troopers are redirecting traffic through the northbound rest area. A camera and a sensor from the Ohio Department of Transportation show that the left lane of southbound I-75 is also closed because of the accident, causing a 20-minute delay.
