Man arrested in a Dayton apartment complex after fatally stabbing a woman who was desperately screaming for help

Dayton, Ohio – First responders were dispatched to an apartment complex in Dayton after receiving a report about a stabbed woman on Friday evening.

According to authorities, a caller contacting 911 said, “Someone is getting stabbed.”

According to Montgomery County dispatch, first responders were sent to the Wentworth Apartments at around 7 p.m. after receiving a call that a woman had been stabbed there.

During the course of the conversation, the individual informed the operator that there was blood in the hall of the apartment complex.

He claimed that he could hear shouting coming from one of the apartments and that a woman was saying “Help me, help me, help me!”

The caller said the wailing ultimately stopped.

According to the caller, the woman lives alone, but they heard a male voice in the apartment with her.

The Dispatch said that the records indicate that an arrest was made, but they did not reveal the identity of the individual who was arrested or the charges they faced.

Records from the Montgomery County Jail indicate that Deandre Lloyd was taken into custody on Wentworth Avenue at about seven o’clock in the evening.

Following his arrest, Lloyd was charged with a variety of charges, including murder and obstructing official business.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office was unable to confirm whether or not they were summoned to the apartment complex on Friday evening.

The coroner’s office confirmed they had the corpse of the woman whom the man in the 911 call identified as living in the apartment where the screams were coming from.
