Free COVID-19 testing events scheduled for this week in the area

Dayton, Ohio – The Greene County Public Health Department and Public Health Dayton and Montgomery County have scheduled two free COVID-19 testing events in the area this week, in response to the high demand for COVID-19 testing in the region.

A drive-thru testing location will be open at Wright State University’s Nutter Center in Dayton from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. on Tuesday. According to a spokeswoman, testing is free and available to anybody over the age of ten who is having symptoms or who has had a known exposure to someone who has recently tested positive for the virus.

As previously stated, the PCR tests will be performed on Tuesday, with results being available to patients in 24–48 hours. It is necessary to arrange appointments for Tuesday’s testing event, which you may do so by visiting this website.

The second event will take place on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bethesda Temple, 3702 Salem Avenue in Dayton. The event is free and open to the public. The testing event on Wednesday is available to people of all ages, including those under the age of two. It is also by appointment only, and testing is suggested for individuals who are experiencing COVID symptoms or who have been exposed to the virus.
