Ambassador Tony Hall receives Dayton Peace Prize

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Peace Accords Anniversary Committee selected Ambassador Tony Hall as the recipient of the Dayton Peace Prize.

Ambassador Hall was unanimously selected as the 2020 awardee as part of the 25th anniversary remembrance negotiations held at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in 1995.

Ambassador Hall is one of six people to be given the award since the community led anniversary committee was founded in 1996, and he joins a group that includes President Bill Clinton, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

The Dayton Peace Prize was established in 1999 to recognize individuals who, through individual or organizational actions and deeds, impact humanity in a positive way by advocating for peace, health, hunger, or other humanitarian objectives.
