Parents are willing to literally do anything to save their children when they are in danger. One father did exactly that. He rescued his daughter, who was sold to a trafficking ring by her boyfriend, and brought her back home, but then went a step further and did something horrifying.
The father, John, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after the decomposing corpse of his daughter’s boyfriend was discovered in an abandoned vehicle’s trunk.
John found out that Andrew, who was the boyfriend of his daughter at the time, had sold her to a human trafficking ring. John successfully rescued his daughter and brought her back home after their ordeal.
But a month later, John went up to Andrew and kidnapped him. He tied Andrew up and put him in the trunk of a car.
In the end, John killed the man by hitting him in the head with a cinder block and stabbing him many times, according to a statement from the police.
The decomposing body of 19-year-old Andrew was found by authorities after homeowners in the neighborhood near the vehicle reported an abandoned car that was covered in mold and emitting a foul odor.
Brenda, who is engaged to John, was the owner of the vehicle in question.
When authorities went to speak with Brenda, John told them the vehicle had been stolen earlier. Brenda informed officers that their young daughter had been a victim of human trafficking at the hands of Andrew and that they had traveled to save her.
However, a neighbor reported to authorities that John had admitted to murdering someone and concealing the corpse in the trunk of a vehicle. John said, when being questioned, that he had confronted Andrew and then murdered him.
He was arrested, and his bail was set at one million dollars.
