Unexpected move by Trump on Memorial Day, this is not an appropriate way to honor veterans and soldiers, especially for a former president

The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, was observed in New York City on Memorial Day. As he left his Trump Tower residence to enjoy a round of golf, he acknowledged onlookers with a wave.

At 76 years old, Trump, dressed in an all-white ensemble, exited his Manhattan loft on Fifth Avenue just past 9 a.m. He was then swiftly transported to one of his own golf courses.

Notably, the former president wore one of his signature “Make America Great Again” hats for this Memorial Day venture.

The 45th president arrived in the Big Apple on Saturday without much public spectacle. According to sources, he is due to depart on Tuesday.

Details regarding whether the former first lady, Melania Trump, accompanied her husband on this brief excursion were not immediately available.

Trump’s appearance in Manhattan closely followed his Memorial Day commemoration on his Truth Social platform, which featured a strongly-worded, capitalized message early Monday morning.

“HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL,” he began his fervent post.

“BUT ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE FOR THE COUNTRY THEY LOVE, AND TO THOSE IN LINE OF A VERY DIFFERENT, BUT EQUALLY DANGEROUS FIRE, STOPPING THE THREATS OF THE TERRORISTS, MISFITS AND LUNATIC THUGS WHO ARE WORKING FEVERISHLY FROM WITHIN TO OVERTURN AND DESTROY OUR ONCE GREAT COUNTRY, WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN IN GREATER PERIL THAN IT IS RIGHT NOW.”
