A mother is capable of doing anything for her children, and this mother proved exactly this. Besides knowing what she did was wrong and that there would be consequences for her, she did not hesitate for a moment when she needed to provide clothes for her children for the start of the school year and stole at the shop.
Fortunately for the 27-year-old mother, who has not been identified, the police officer who was called to the store was sympathetic. Store employees called the police after they saw the mother on camera putting clothes in a bag. After officer Hector arrived at the store and took the suspect into custody, he noticed that the bag contained mostly children’s clothing and that the suspect was with her young daughter.
Hector, who is a father himself, was compassionate and did a good deed without speaking to the suspect. “I took the clothes and took them to the cashier,” he said. “I decided to pay for the clothes, and I didn’t say anything to the suspect.” After Hector handed her the bag, the mother became emotional and asked how she could repay his kindness. Hector only told her that one day she too would do someone a favor.
Police Chief Gary described the act of kindness as “another example of a police officer doing his job. In the end, the important words are: “I’m a father too. “I care about your children, and I will do my best so that they have something to wear,” Gary said. Hector said he hopes the incident “shows the police in a positive light. It was something I had to do, and it came from the heart,” he said.
