Instagram new feature allows influencers to get paid for content

With the rollout of a new feature on Instagram, people will be able to pay to get more content from some of their favorite accounts.

Instagram will soon enable a select group of influencers to give their followers memberships to exclusive content on Instagram Live and stories.

Fees might be as little as 99 cents per month or as much as $100 per month, depending on the service.

For now, influencers can keep the money they make. However, beginning in the next year, they will be required to pay a fee.

Twitter and other social media networks are already using this concept.
