Free COVID-19 testing event to be held in Dayton

Dayton, Ohio – A free COVID-19 testing event will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bethesda Temple in Dayton.

Anyone over the age of 18 who attends the event will be able to obtain a free PCR test. A doctor’s recommendation is not necessary, and results should be available in one to two days, according to a press release from Public Health.

Anyone interested must schedule an appointment on Public’s Health website or by calling (937) 225-6217.

Individuals who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has been infected with the virus should be tested.
