Dayton police seek public assistance in connection with motorcycle crash and reported gunfire

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance following a serious incident that occurred on October 3, 2024. At around 1:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic accident combined with a discharge of firearms at the intersection of Germantown and Mount Clair.

The 34-year-old man, who was involved in the crash, was initially believed to have been shot due to the turmoil at the scene.
