
Dayton, Ohio – The annual City of Dayton Neighborhood Conference, themed “Block by Block,” will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Belmont High School, located at 2615 Wayne Ave. The event aims to provide learning and networking opportunities for residents to improve their communities.
The program will feature keynote speaker Monnie Bush, founder and CEO of the Victory Project, an organization focused on youth development. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in three consecutive breakout sessions, led by community members, local organizations, and City staff. These sessions will offer valuable insights from experts and community leaders.
In addition to the breakout sessions, the conference will feature a resource fair, a collaborative art project, and opportunities to interact with various City departments. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants.
The event is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about community improvement. Early registration ensures participants will receive a conference t-shirt and tote bag. The conference is hosted by the City of Dayton Department of Planning, Neighborhoods & Development.
