Boy dies weighing only 15 pounds, authorities shocked to discover what these people did to him

The death of a 9-year-old boy with cerebral palsy who had been severely neglected and starved has led to the arrest of four people in connection with the youngster’s death.

According to the reports, deputies from the sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call about a boy who was having cardiac arrest. The little boy, Cameron, was rushed to the nearby hospital, where it was determined that he had passed away.

Calling the discovery “beyond terrible,” Sheriff Greg said Cameron was blind, severely malnourished, and weighed less than 15 pounds. As a result, sheriff’s officials and state police arrested the four adult co-inhabitants of the home, including Cameron’s two guardians.

Reportedly, Hubert and Robin were the designated guardians of the child and had been raising him since he was 3 days old.Chad and Sarah also lived in the residence with their two children, ages 3 and 5. The minors have since been removed from the home and are in the custody of child protective services.

The biological parents of the victim have been informed of the circumstances of their son’s death. Officials state they will not be delivering a statement about their reactions to the mistreatment and death of the 9-year-old. According to details released about the case at a sheriff’s office press conference, Greg stated all four adults were charged with child neglect resulting in death. Chad and Sarah were additionally charged with failure to report child neglect.

“It makes me mad, makes me mad that somebody could do this to a child, let alone a child that has physical handicaps and was blind … was given to a guardian to take care of. And this is how he gets treated? This is what he deserves? To be starved to death? What kind of animals are they?” Ewing stated. He further said the pictures taken of the home scene reminded him of those taken of prisoners in concentration camp during World War II.
