Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department is urgently asking for the public’s help in locating Anthony Fogel, a 16-year-old boy who has been missing since December 19, 2025. Authorities have classified Anthony as a critical missing person due to recently confirmed information regarding his developmental condition.
Anthony Has the Developmental Function of a Young Child
Anthony was last seen around 6:00 p.m. on December 19, near 400 Gramont Avenue in Dayton, Ohio. On January 20, 2026, authorities were informed that “Anthony has the developmental function level of a young child,” raising significant concerns for his safety and well-being.
He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans, black and red gym shoes, and a red coat. At the time of his disappearance, Anthony stood approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighed 140 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Investigators believe Anthony may be with a family member who does not have legal custody of him. According to police, this same individual has been linked to past incidents when Anthony has gone missing. Authorities say the family has not been cooperative with the investigation, which is further complicating efforts to find him.
