Dayton police searching for missing 14-year-old last seen on December 29

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old named Jaykob Vititoe, whose legal name is Julianna. Authorities say Jaykob was last seen around 8:30 p.m. on December 29, 2025, at 1 Elizabeth Place in Dayton. Concerns are growing for Jaykob’s safety and well-being.

Jaykob is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 280 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of disappearance, Jaykob was wearing a black shirt with the word “grit” printed in orange, blue and green pajama pants, and house slippers. The police have emphasized that “there are concerns for Jaykob’s well being.”

A photo of Jaykob in the shirt he was last seen wearing has been released to assist the public in identifying him. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Jaykob’s whereabouts to come forward immediately.
