Dayton, Ohio – According to authorities, a woman died from her injuries after accidentally shot herself while cleaning her house.
Officers said that the shooting was reported around 5 p.m. on Monday by the victim’s fiance.
Her fiance told the Dayton police that the woman had been cleaning their home and when she picked up a gun off the couch it accidentally went off. The woman was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound in the chest. Later, she was pronounced dead.
This incident remains under investigation.
