Westlake, Ohio – A Giant Eagle store in Westlake recently sold a winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 for the drawing held on August 5, 2024.
The lucky ticket, which was an auto-pick, matched four out of five numbers plus the red Powerball, initially winning $50,000. However, because the ticket holder added the Powerplay option, the prize amount doubled to an impressive $100,000.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 29-42-44-51-54, with the Powerball number being 12. The Powerplay multiplier was 2X, effectively boosting the prize for those who opted for it.
The winning ticket was purchased at Giant Eagle, located at 30275 Detroit Rd in Westlake. The fortunate winner now has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
