Dayton, Ohio – One person was shot, injured and transferred to the hospital for treatment in the early morning shooting incident that took place in Dayton.
According to the incident report, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene in the 800 block of Clement Avenue just after 2:00 a.m. following a 911 in regards to a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found at least one victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transferred to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.
In the initial report, the police didn’t say if there were suspects in the case. First responders didn’t provide additional details about the victim’s condition or the extent of the injuries.
So far, the shooting incident remains under investigation.
