According to lottery officials, the winner purchased the ticket at Kroger #549, located at 1501 W. Fifth St. in Marysville. After the required 28 percent in state and federal taxes, the annual payout comes to $28,800 per year, totaling more than $720,000 over the 25-year period.
The VIP Millions scratch-off ticket, which costs $50, features a top prize of $40,000 annually for 25 years. As of June 20, there are still 32 top prizes remaining, giving hopeful players additional chances to win big.
