Victim in Harrison Township shooting identified

Montgomery County, Ohio – Authorities identified the victim of a shooting that occurred after a disturbance on North Main Street in Harrison Township.

As reported by the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, on Monday morning, shortly after 4:30 a.m., a man was discovered dead from gunshot wounds.

According to the police, the incident was first reported to them as a disturbance that occurred on North Main Street.

Crews arrived at 4523 North Main St. to find a man on the ground with a gunshot wound. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was unable to recover from his injuries and passed away.

The victim was identified as Mark Watts, who was 33 years old and from Fairborn. This information was provided by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
