Avondale, Ohio – One teenager was hurt in a shooting that happened Thursday afternoon, and another is still in critical condition.
Officers responded at around 3:30 in the afternoon to Reading Road near Lexington Avenue, where the incident took place.
Responding crews located an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately transported them to UC Medical Center, where the younger victim was listed in critical condition.
Officers said a bullet-riddled white vehicle was discovered near the Reading/Lexington crossroads.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are yet to be determined pending an investigation.
Information about whether someone was arrested was not released.
