Troy, Ohio – On Tuesday morning, five people were injured in a head-on collision in Miami County.
The accident happened before 8 a.m. Tuesday on County Road 25A at Lytle Road near the fairgrounds, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office said that three children under the age of seven were among those injured in the collision. One individual sustained significant injuries following the crash. The injured people were transported to the Upper Valley Medical Center for further treatment.
A car had fallen over on its top and the driver was stuck inside. Firefighters from Troy were able to extricate the driver from his vehicle.
At this moment, it is not clear what factors contributed to the accident.
