
Dayton, Ohio – Three families have been forced to leave their homes after a fire broke out in an apartment complex in Dayton.
Fire crews were sent to the apartment complex shortly before 8:30 p.m. for a report of a fire in the 200 block of Catalpa Drive.
According to Dayton Fire District Chief Adam Landis, the fire was contained to a single apartment and it was quickly brought under control, but the building was significantly damaged by the smoke.
According to Landis, no one was injured as a result of the fire.
There is an investigation underway to determine what caused the fire.
