The Dayton Foodbank receives 750 pounds of food from RTA

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Foodbank received a donation of 750 pounds of food from the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) team.

Following the RTA’s 21-day food drive, which began on December 14, 2021 and ended on January 3, 2022, the RTA crew joined together and gave 750 pounds of food to the Dayton Foodbank, the organization said.

According to the Regional Transit Authority, the food will be used to feed households in the Miami Valley. The Foodbank has been a significant source of hunger relief in the Miami Valley for more than 40 years, according to the Regional Transit Authority.
