Dayton, Ohio – The City of Dayton Division of Waste Collection has announced changes to its services in Dayton, Moraine, and Jefferson Township due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Residents are reminded to place their containers at the designated collection points by 6 a.m. on collection day to ensure timely pickup.
Adjusted Collection Schedules
- Dayton: Garbage and recycling collection typically scheduled for Thursday will be completed on Friday, November 29. There will be no bulk collection in Dayton during the holiday week.
- Moraine: Trash and recycling collection, originally scheduled for Friday, will take place on Saturday, November 30.
- Jefferson Township: Trash collection, usually on Thursday, will occur on Friday, November 29, while recycling and bulk collection will be handled on Saturday, November 30.
