Suspect arrested after wounding a person at a gas station

Sycamore Township, Ohio – A suspect has been apprehended after a shooting in Sycamore Township.

It was just before midnight on Monday when Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies came to check on the BP gas station at the intersection of Kenwood and Montgomery roads. There was a gunshot there.

Responding officers found a person suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. The victim was immediately transported to the UC Medical Center. Information about the condition of the victim was not released.

The sheriff’s office conducted an interview with a person of interest. The name of the person interviewed is Sothy Mil. He confessed to shooting the victim and was arrested.

Mil’s handgun was reportedly discovered on the ground in front of the car he used to go to the BP station.

Mil and the victim are said to be acquaintances, according to police.
