Sidney, Ohio – Sidney police are asking possible witnesses to an accident where a youngster was hit by a vehicle while riding a moped to step forward.
The crash occurred in the 700 block of Spruce Avenue just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to authorities, a tourniquet was applied to the leg of a youngster who had been injured in the accident.
The victim was first taken to Wilson Hospital for treatment and then flown to Miami Valley Hospital.
The reason for the crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer O’Brien at the Sidney Police Department at 937-498-2351.
