Public’s help needed in identifying women who stole a dog

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department wants the public to help them identify the women who took a dog and find the dog.

The women stole Chop, a 2-year-old Pomeranian, from the yard of a residence in the 2100 block of Salem Avenue on March 19th, around 3:30 p.m., according to police.

The women who stole the dog were captured on a surveillance camera. One of the women was dressed in black pants and a grey jacket, while the other was wearing blue pants and a grey shirt.

Anyone with information on the location of the dog or the identities of the women is asked to contact the Dayton Police Department at (937) 333-2677 or Crime Stoppers at (937) 222-7867.
