Ohio – President Joe Biden will pay a second visit to the Tri-State area on May 6.
A White House news release says that the president is meeting with local business leaders, seeing new manufacturing equipment in action, and talking about how to make more things in the United States.
According to the White House, 473,000 industrial jobs have been added since Biden became president. As part of his job-creation strategy, Biden will ask Congress to build on those jobs and adopt legislation like the Bipartisan Innovation Act, which seeks to generate good-paying jobs, grow manufacturing in the United States, and bring down prices.
