Police seek public’s help in locating missing 13-year-old girl from Dayton

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department is actively searching for 13-year-old Salima Katusiime, who was last seen around 10:00 p.m. on April 22, 2025. Her last known location was in the 1100 block of Wyoming Street.

Salima is described as being 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair currently styled in black and blonde braids. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a black shirt and khaki pants. Salima is fluent in both Swahili and English.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Salima or who has information about her whereabouts to come forward. Police stress that all leads, no matter how small, are valuable in helping to bring Salima home safely.
