Police investigating a shooting incident that left three people wounded

Dayton, Ohio – After a shooting in Dayton early Thursday morning, three individuals were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, police said.

A shooting was reported at about 4 a.m. at a parking lot near the junction of Gettysburg Avenue and Kings Highway, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, and officers were sent to the scene at that time. When they arrived, they discovered that one man had been shot in the arm. The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.

According to the Dayton Police Department, two more men arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds in their legs, requiring medical care following the shooting.

It was said that the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident is still being investigated by authorities. Due to the large expanse of the parking lot, K9 units were also sent at one point.
