Darke County, Ohio – According to preliminary reports, a medical helicopter was sent to a Darke County collision site after a dump truck flipped over on state Route 121 Friday afternoon.
The accident happened at 12:30 p.m. on state Route 121 near Thomas Road, which is located south of New Madison in Darke County.
Authorities said a person was extricated by emergency crews from the wreckage. The victim was airlifted to a hospital by MedFlight medical helicopter. According to early reports, fuel spillage was also observed after the incident.
Information about the condition of the victim was not released.
