Patrols planned for today as part of Dayton Service Initiative Enforcement

Dayton, Ohio – Officers that are members of the Dayton Service Initiative Enforcement will be taking part in today’s focused efforts to enforce traffic laws.

Today, US-40 will be the primary focus of law enforcement activity for officers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Vandalia Police Department, and the Butler Township Police Department.

The enforcement actions will begin at eleven in the morning and continue until five in the afternoon.

The Dayton Service Initiative Enforcement focuses on traffic violations that are likely to cause accidents, like speeding, driving while drunk, reckless driving, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
