One person died following a Springfield accident

Springfield, Ohio – Police are looking into a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in Springfield on Tuesday.

According to the Springfield Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of East High Street and South Belmont Avenue at around 3:50 p.m. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Information on how many vehicles were involved in the accident or the identity of the victim was not released.
