Jefferson Township, Ohio – One person was killed and two others were injured in a home fire that broke out early Wednesday morning and required the assistance of numerous fire departments.
Crews were sent to the 5800 block of Pinnacle Road at 3:09 a.m. on reports of a home fire with heavy smoke in the 5800 block of Pinnacle Road, according to Montgomery County Dispatch.
Crews put the fire out in approximately 18 minutes upon arrival and started threatening the injured people. One of them was taken to Kettering Health, where they were pronounced dead.
Multiple fire departments, like Dayton and Moraine, as well as Farmersville and Trotwood, and the Miami Valley Fire District, helped put out the fire.
No information has been released about what caused the fire. The investigation remains ongoing.
