Ohio man facing several charges after admitting his role in the Capitol riots

Dayton, Ohio – One more arrest has been made in connection to the January 6 Capitol riots.

Kenneth D. Massie, from Ohio, was arrested on February 8 in Dayton for his role in the Capitol riots after being identified in photos by two other people who were in the Capitol building at the time, according to U.S. Magistrate Judge Harvey.

Massie was interviewed on December 9, 2021, and confessed he was among the rioters on January 6. Besides that, he offered more evidence, such as the jacket he wore in the Capitol Building and the mobile phone he was using at the time.

According to the press statement, Massie is now facing a number of charges in connection with the incident, including:

  • Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds.
  • Disruptive and Disorderly Behavior in a Restricted Building or Grounds.
  • Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building.
  • Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building.
