Toledo, Ohio – Thomas Kaminski, a resident of Toledo, is celebrating a windfall after winning $20,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s Triple Red 777 scratch-off game. Kaminski purchased his winning ticket at Stop & Go #6 on Eleanor Avenue while picking up a few items. The victory came as a pleasant surprise, as he had been playing the same game at the same location the week prior without luck.
“When I found out I won, I almost panicked internally,” he shared. After checking his ticket and confirming his win, Kaminski was so overwhelmed that he asked his brother to step outside of a bar with him, exclaiming, “I basically lost my crap seeing I won $20,000!”
After federal and state tax withholdings, Kaminski will take home approximately $14,400 from his prize.
