Along with this adventure, the selected teacher’s school will also receive a $500 gift card from the Ohio Lottery.
The giveaway is open to all teachers nominated for Teacher of the Month as part of the Ohio Lottery’s Partners in Education program. Eligible nominations must be submitted by March 10, 2025. The winner will be publicly announced on the Ohio Lottery and ODNR social media platforms during Teacher Appreciation Week, which runs from May 5, 2025, to May 9, 2025.

The Partners in Education program is designed to recognize and reward teachers, students, and schools that demonstrate exceptional performance and commitment. Each month, from September through May, the Ohio Lottery honors three teachers and three students, recognizing them as Teacher of the Month or Academic All-Star recipients. Schools that excel in developing literacy skills and fostering success in reading can also earn the title of School of the Year.
The prizes awarded through this program are:
- Teacher of the Month winners receive a prize pack and a $500 gift card.
- Academic All-Star winners are awarded a prize pack and a $100 gift card.
- The School of the Year is honored with a prize pack and a $2,500 gift card.
