Northeast Ohio residents left without electricity on Christmas morning

Ohio – Many Northeast Ohio residents were facing a power outage on Christmas morning.

According to FirstEnergy outage maps, over 13,000 Cuyahoga County customers were affected by the power outage.

Officials from the energy provider said the outage was due to a problem at a local substation. All homeowners affected by the outage had their electricity restored by 11:30 a.m.
