Dayton, Ohio – The City of Dayton Division of Waste Collection has announced a revised schedule for garbage and recycling services due to the New Year holiday. Residents are encouraged to note these changes to ensure timely waste collection.
Dayton
There will be no waste collection on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. As a result, garbage and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. Please note that no bulk collection is scheduled in Dayton for this week.
Moraine
Garbage and recycling collection in Moraine will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Jefferson Township
In Jefferson Township, there will be no collection on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Instead, garbage collection will occur on Thursday, January 2, and Friday, January 3. Bulk and recycling services will be provided on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Residents across all areas are reminded to place their containers at the designated collection location by 6:30 a.m. on the collection day. Please note that collection occurs on a scheduled day but not at a specific time.
