Nearly 2,000 AES customers left without power overnight due to an accident

Miamisburg, Ohio – A late Sunday night crash in Miamisburg left thousands of customers without power overnight.

Emergency crews were sent to the scene of a crash in the 700 block of Red Deer Lane at approximately 11:23 p.m. Sunday.

AES workers were sent to the scene to try to restore power, which they were able to do to most of the customers in question. Power needs to be restored to another 197 users.
