Multi-vehicle accident in Dayton claimed the life of a female driver

Dayton, Ohio – A collision involving multiple vehicles that took place earlier this month in Dayton has claimed the life of a woman who was 31 years old.

According to the police report, the accident took place on June 9 at around 5:47 p.m. on North Gettysburg Avenue when a brown Chevrolet Blazer crossed the intersection on a red light and crashed into a red Ford Focus, causing the Ford to collide with two other vehicles.

According to the report, the woman who was driving the Ford was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where she died just a short time afterwards. The identity of the woman will be revealed after police notify her family.

The drivers of the two other vehicles were also taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

The Chevrolet Blazer reportedly came to a stop on Free Pike after the accident, but the driver did not remain at the site, according to police.
