Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to present police dogs with 2022 dogs licenses

Montgomery County, Ohio – Police dogs will receive their 2022 dog licenses from the Montgomery County Auditor, Karl Keith, on January 11.

On Tuesday morning, Keith will present police dogs from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the Miamisburg Police Department and Dayton Police Department with their licenses for the year 2022.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, three K-9s from the Sheriff’s Office who have just begun duty and one Dayton K-9 who is currently in training will be recognized.

Both Sheriff Rob Streck and Montgomery County Auditor Keith will talk at the event about the importance of the service dogs offer to the community, as well as the need for dog licensing.
