Montgomery County authorities looking for theft suspect

Montgomery County, Ohio – Authorities in Montgomery County are looking for a man suspected of theft and are asking the public to step forward with any information regarding his identity or the crime.

An iPhone 7, a wallet containing multiple credit cards, and a set of vehicle keys were stolen from a person’s black jacket on Tuesday, January 4th, according to the sheriff’s office. The suspect, who was wearing a Mossy Oak hoodie and blue jeans, was last seen entering Goodwill on N. Dixie Dr. in Harrison Township at about 11:30 a.m.

The man then drove away from the store in what seemed to be a silver-gray Chevrolet Suburban, according to a witness and footage from the video surveillance camera.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information that might be helpful in resolving the case to contact Det. Casey at 937-890-3430.
