Fairfield, Ohio – A missing person report was filed with the Hamilton Police Department, and the body of a man who had been reported missing has been discovered.
The body of 54-year-old Curtis Kellums was found in a pond at 2377 West Elkton Road on Sunday. He had been missing since April 2, 2022.
Sonar was used by a volunteer with Texas EquuSearch to locate what seemed to be an SUV that was sunk in the pond.
TaskForce1 and the Emergency Response Services of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office were able to remove the car where Curtis Kellums was found after sending out an underwater drone and divers.
Both the Butler County Sheriff’s Office detective and the Coroner’s Office came to the scene.
Additional information was not revealed.
