Missing 12-year-old boy in Dayton found safe

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department confirmed that 12-year-old Jacob Stinson, who was reported missing, has been found and is safe.

Authorities Sought Public Assistance

Earlier, police had asked for help locating Jacob, who was last seen around 7:00 a.m. on February 24, 2025, in the 300 block of Baltimore Street. His family had expressed deep concern for his well-being. Jacob was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing glasses, a black coat, a teal hoodie, gray pants, and white Nike shoes.

The Dayton Police Department urged anyone with information to call their tip line or contact Crime Stoppers for anonymous reporting.

Community Support Helped Locate Jacob

Thanks to the swift response of law enforcement and the support of the community, Jacob was located unharmed. Authorities have not released further details on where he was found, but his safe return has brought relief to his family and all who were concerned for his safety.
