Many workers are facing certain difficulties at their workplace, including female workers who are struggling with being sexually harassed. In this case, a woman who was conducting a job interview with a man survived an attempted rape.
The incident took place at a tanning salon.
Police were sent to the Palm Beach Tan on Frank Street in response to a report of a 19-year-old woman who claimed she was attacked while conducting a job interview with Shameek Absalom Dunn, 26.
The woman repelled the attack by the man and suffered minor injuries as a result.
Dunn fled the scene following the incident but was apprehended a short time later. Authorities confirmed he used his real name and address when he filled out the application for the salon.
Dunn was taken into the Jefferson County Jail in Birmingham, Alabama on charges of attempted rape and first-degree kidnapping. Bail for his release has been set at $90,000.
