Paulette said she didn’t have any particular reason for picking the ticket. She simply pointed and told the store clerk, “I’ll take two of those.” That casual decision turned into an unforgettable experience.
“I got the winning number and looked at the ticket, and oh there’s one, there’s two, wait, there’s five! I had my friend scratch the prize amount, and she said you’ve got to see this,” Paulette recalled. “I’m looking, and I’m like this can’t be I don’t have this kind of luck. It was surreal!”
